Konechne's Red Barn Hunting Retreats is owned by the James and Audrey Konechne family and managed by Kelly and Kayla Konechne. The Red Barn was moved in and placed on site in the 1990’s and has been renovated and upgraded throughout the years to provide an exceptional experience to our guests.

The Konechne family took ownership in 2013 and look forward to continuing a great tradition of hunting, while also providing wonderful accomodations for guests. The Konechne family has been hunting the grasslands of Brule county; which is consistently listed as one of the top pheasant areas in the state and country for over 30 years. We claim over 5,000 acres of continuous land, that our family either owns or rents of abundant grass habitats and tree groves, which provide excellent raising grounds for wild pheasants.

Our 6,500 sq. ft. lodge offers comfortable accommodations. It is designed to allow for the privacy of separate parties. There are 10 private bedrooms and 10 private bathrooms located on 3 different levels. We can accomodate reunions, group meetings, wedding parties and graduation parties.
